Gazpromneft-Aero plans to equip the complex with new technology and to implement modern refuelling quality standards that comply with IATA. Gazpromneft-Aero is one of the largest Russian investors in refuelling infrastructure at the airports where it operates. In 2013, capital investment in modernizing the refuelling complex exceeded around 80 million USD, and the company plans to increase this figure this year. Modernizing infrastructure at Omsk Refuelling Complex will make it possible to offer refueling services in compliance with the best international practices and up-to-date standards for efficiency and safety.

"Gazpromneft-Aero's development strategy involves expanding its business in Russian airports, where trans-Siberian routes from Europe to Asia pass through," Gazpromneft-Aero General Director Vladimir Yegorov said. "By making significant investment in the development of our new assets, and specifically the refuelling complex in Omsk, we are creating modern infrastructure to offer airlines a high level of service. Direct deliveries from Gazprom Neft's Omsk Oil Refinery will allow us to guarantee the supplies."
