Mialn, 9 May (AKI) - Barbara Berlusconi has said her father Silvio's AC Milan football squad needs younger blood.
Even though Milan at the weekend won its first Serie A trophy in seven years, Berlusconi, a member of the team's board of directors, said the victory of the Italian Scudetto, as the Serie A tournament is called, should give it the impetus to build an even stronger squad.
"The success must help us build a new team," she said in an interview with Corriere della Sera newspaper.
"I want a team that fouses on youth," said Berlusconi, who was born in 1984.
“The squad must be capable of competing in Europe and also fitting in with the new economic requirements of football clubs.
“Our dream is to see Milan have another 25 years of success. After all, it is the club with more trophies than any other in the world and we don’t want to lose that record.
