The foreign ministry was on Wednesday slated to present new simplified visa procedures to attract more resources, capital, know-how and innovation to Italy at a conference in Rome, the ministry said.
The services due to be unveiled at the 'Visa policy in support of the Italian economy' conference include simplifying visa application procedures for investors, businessmen and those wishing to set up their tax residence in Italy, said the ministry.
Top officials from Italy's private employers association Confindustria and from the foreign, interior and economic development ministries were due to address the event, according to the conference programme.
