The International Atomic Energy Agency's general conference has re-elected Italy to the UN watchdog agency's board of governors for a further two-year term, Italy's foreign ministry tweeted on Thursday.
The 62nd annual regular session of the IAEAGC is taking place at the Vienna International Centre through Friday.
The IAEA's 35-member board of governors is one of the agency's two policy-making bodies, along with the annual general conference of IAEA member states.
