HP and the China Academy of Building Research (CABR) joined hands for the design, also cooperating with Tsinghua University.
Climaveneta (a DeLclima company) has been appointed the exclusive supplier to deliver 48 free cooling chillers to cool the data center and 4 heat pumps providing free heating to the 20,000m2 office area next to the data centre, recovering the heat rejected by the chillers, with zero CO2 emissions at site, zero water consumption and no glycol. Total cooling and heating capacity exceeds 70 MegaWatts. The contract includes a 10 year service contract and other services.
Deliveries are scheduled in H1 2015.
