Occhio all'inganno: impostare il vostro iPhone manualmente con la data del 1 gennaio 1970 può causare il blocco dello smartphone. La testimonianza arriva da molti utenti che, sui social network, denunciano di aver messo la fatidica data sul proprio device e di non essere più riusciti a riaccenderlo.
Tutto nasce proprio sui social dove ha iniziato a girare un passaparola secondo il quale, se si fosse impostata quella particolare data sull'iPhone, dopo averlo riavviato, ogni utente avrebbe potuto scoprire una sorpresa nel software che avrebbe fatto "rivivere la magia di un classico tema Macintosh".
'Blast from the past' ('Sbucato dal passato') recita il finto annuncio che sta girando in rete, ricostruito su un'immagine che richiama logo e sfondo Apple.
Ma, come provato e dimostrato anche in un video dell'appassionato di tecnologia Zach Straley, è tutto falso. Quindi, attenzione. Il bug, secondo quanto riporta il sito 'Snopes.com' (che si occupa di leggende urbane, rumors e tutto ciò che gira in rete tramite retweet e passaparola) colpirebbe iPhone, iPad e iPod touch con processori a 64 bit e con iOS 8 o 9.
