Italy's hardline interior minister and deputy prime minister Matteo Salvini on Monday had a "useful, positive and constructive" meeting with head of state Sergio Mattarella, Salvini said after their talks in Rome.
The meeting between Salvini and Mattarella at the Quirinale Palace lasted half an hour and centred on migration, security, terrorism, the seizure of mafia assets and the situation in turmoil-wracked Libya, Adnkronos learned from sources.
