Border reopenings in coronavirus-hit Europe, tourism and the civil war in Libya were on the agenda at talks in Athens on Tuesday between Italy's foreign minister Luigi Di Maio and his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias.
"The reopening of tourism in Europe after the Covid-19 emergency, bilateral and European topics, the management of migration, the western Balkans and Libya are on the agenda between Luigi Di Maio and (Greek) foreign minister Nikas Dendias," the Italian foreign ministry tweeted.
"We are working to remove restrictions on tourism among European Union countries. Bringing in foreign tourists means creating work for our shopkeepers, craftsmen and businesses. It means re-starting the economy," tweeted Di Maio.
