A six-year-old girl and three other people were killed on Tuesday when a school bus collided with a truck on the highway between Cairo and the northeast seaport of Suez, local reports said.
The school bus driver and two teachers died in the horror smash on the desert highway which injured 22 people, according to daily al-Masry al-Youm.
Most of those injured were students, state-run daily Al-Ahram said on its website quoting Egypt's health ministry.
