Italian police Friday arrested a 68-year-old Albanian at Rome airport who is accused of sexual assault and intimidation against a minor via Facebook, disseminating child pornography over the Internet and hacking.
The Albanian's arrest followed a complaint to police by the mother of a 14-year-old girl in the southern Italian city of Salerno, who he allegedly forced to send him via Facebook erotic videos filmed on a webcam over a period of two years.
The Albanian allegedly threatened the teenager when she refused to make and send him any more erotic videos, some of which he shared on social media with friends and relations, police said.
Prosecutors in Salerno ordered the man's arrest after Italian investigators managed to trace him to his native Albania. He was arrested there by Albanian police and extradited to Italy for trial.
