Italy's foreign minister Angelino Alfano will on Tuesday will meet his Serbian and Albanian counterparts on Tuesday in Belgrade as well as Serbia's president and its premier, the Italian foreign ministry said on Monday.

Alfano will sign a medical cooperation accord with Serbia's foreign minister Ivica Dacic after Tuesday's tripartite meeting which is also being attended by Albanian foreign minister Ditmir Bushati, the statement said.

The organ donation and transplant agreement involves Serbia's health ministry's biomedicine department and Italy's national transplant centre, the foreign ministry stated.

Alfano will kick off his one-day visit with a meeting with Serbia's president Aleksandar Vucic and after meeting Dacic and Bushati, will hold a joint press conference with them, according to the ministry.

The head of Italian diplomacy will round off his trip with bilateral meetings with Dacic and with prime minister Ana Brnabic, the ministry said.
