During a visit to Rome on Thursday, United Nations secretary-general Ban-Ki-moon expressed his liking for Italian ties, claiming that his wife loves him more when he wears one.
"When I wear an Italian tie, my wife seems to love me more," Ban told Italian lawmakers and office-bearers.
He made the quip during a televised address to Italy's lower house of parliament to mark the 60th anniversary of Italy's membership of the United Nations.
