A bomb exploded near a mosque in the eastern port city of Benghazi on Friday, killing at least one person and injuring dozens, Libyan news site Alwasat reported, citing hospital sources.
The English-language newspaper Libya Observer tweeted that the blast took place during Friday prayers at the Abu Horira mosque in Benghazi's Majouri district.
Some eyewitnesses said a bag had exploded inside the mosque while others said it had been a carbomb attack, according to Alwasat.
Other media reports cited Benghazi residents as saying there had been twin blasts at the mosque.
Two weeks ago, some 35 people were killed by a twin bombing at a mosque in the same city.
