Judges, defence lawyers, officials and prosecutors waited for over an hour outside the central Italian city of Perugia's courthouse when it was evacuated on Wednesday due to a bomb scare.
Police bomb disposal squads searched the courthouse after an anonymous phone call claiming there was a bomb inside the building but no device was found.
Italy has raised its security levels since the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris on 13 November, claimed by the Islamic State militant group, and the mafia has previously planted bombs in southern courthouses.
