Europe can never again depend on energy imports from Russia after its "brutal" assault on Ukraine, prime minister Mario Draghi told European Union leaders on Monday.
''It is unthinkable that after this conflict our energy policy will revert. What has taken place is too brutal. We must take action now to change our energy suppliers long-term," Draghi stated.
Draghi made the remarks at an EU leaders' summit in Brussels.
