Fighting graft is a priority for the government and during its current G20 presidency Italy must "share good practices" to battle the worst forms of the scourge being fuelled by the COVID-19 pandemic, foreign minister Luigi Di Maio said on Wednesday.
"In the fight against corruption, which is one priority of this government, Italy "must share good practices and foster the spread of models and standards on combating the most dangerous forms of corruption, which prey on the vulnerabilities generated by crisis," Di Maio said.
Di Maio was speaking by videolink at the foreign ministry on International Anti-Corruption Day 2020.
