Italy's foreign minister Luigi Di Maio is attending a G7 foreign and development ministers' summit in London where China, Myanmar, Libya and Syria and other international issues are on the agenda.
"Luigi Di Maio at the first day of the G7 Ministerial. On the agenda: China, Myanmar, Syria, Ethiopia, Somalia, Sahel, Chad and Mali," the foreign ministry tweeted.
"Also the Western Balkans, Russia and the (jailed Kremlin critic Alexei) Navalny case, Belarus , Russia, Ukraine, Afghanistan and the Indo-Pacific," added the tweet.
Di Maio met UK foreign minister Dominic Raab and Canadian counterpart Marc Garneau on the sidelines of the summit taking place through Wednesday, according to sources.
