Bilateral economic ties and how to bolster Italy's growing exports to China were the focus of Italy XIV Joint Economic Commission chaired on Tuesday by foreign minister Luigi Di Maio and China's trade minister Wang Wentao.
"Italy-China XIV Joint Economic Commission. Foreign minister Luigi Di Maio with Chinese Min of Commerce, Wang Wentao," the foreign ministry tweeted.
"Focus on economic bilateral relations. New measures to support the positive trend of Italian exports and to protect geographical indications. Commitment on increasing two-way air routes," the tweet added.
