Foreign undersecretary Manlio Di Stefano chaired the second Italy-Pakistan Economic Commission meeting in Islamabad in a bid to build on record bilateral trade, the foreign ministry tweeted on Tuesday.
The value of trade between Italy and Pakistan reached a record 1.45 billion euros last year with 150 billion euro balance of trade surplus in Italy's favour, according to the tweet.
"Down to work to create further opportunities," the tweet added.
