Italy's premier Mario Draghi will on Wednesday hold talks in Rome with King Philippe of Belgium, Draghi's office said in a statement.
Draghi and King Philippe are due to meet at Palazzo Chigi - the prime minister's office - at 14.30 local time, the statement said.
King Philippe will also meet Italy's president Sergio Mattarella and will be accompanied on his visit to Rome by Belgium's foreign minister Sophie Wilmes, according to a statement from the Belgian Monarchy.
During his visit, King Philippe "will take the opportunity to reaffirm the importance that Belgium attaches to its privileged relationship with Italy," the statement said.
