Italy's first electric bus, produced by Campania-based company Industria Italiana Autobus is proof that the country can innovate and transition to renewable energy, according to foreign minister Luigi Di Maio.
"Citymood 12 is the first Italian electric bus," Di Maio wrote on Facebook after attending the vehicle's launch at Industria Italian Autobus in Fiumeri.
"This company is a source of excellence in our South, one that shows how Italy can win the challenge of innovation and the green transition," Di Maio underlined.
