The foreign ministry has seta aside six million euros to help Italy's restaurant and catering businesses around the world recover from the Coronavirus pandemic, a senior ministry official said on Friday.
"Italians abroad whose livelihoods are in the restaurant sector are among those hardest hit by the current economic crisis triggered by the Coronavirus," tweeted Maria Vignali, who is in charge of Italians abroad and migration policy at the ministry.
"The ministry has set aside six million euros in subsidies, help to small businesses and professional re-training," the tweet added.
