The International Organisation for Migration has helped a total 127 Gambian migrants to return to The Gambia after IOM’s Voluntary Humanitarian Return programme received clearance to resume humanitarian flights from Libya, the UN agency tweeted on Friday.
The migrants will continue to receive assistance in their homeland from IOM Libya, the EU in Libya tweeted, welcoming the resumption of humanitarian return flights from Libya and thanking its government.
