MADRID, January 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --

The Isolux Corsan group was awarded the contract in December 2014 for the construction of four stretches of road worth a total of 270 million euros.

The most expensive section is located in the state of Odisha, between the cities of Talcher and Chandikole. It involves more than 130 km of road worth a total of 110 million euros.

Two of the other three stretches are located in the state of Assam, a region that borders Bhutan and Bangladesh. These two sections, which make up part of the NH37, will link the cities of Jorhat and Jhanji, at a distance of over 35 km, and the cities of Jhanji and Demow, representing a total combined distance of close to 90 km of road.

Lastly, the stretch located within National Highway 15, in the north-west of the country, will connect the cities of Phalodi and Jaisalmer. Although the cost of this road amounts to 55 million, the lowest of the four contracts awarded, the distance between these two cities is over 160 km.
