Libya and the European Union's new Mediterranean mission to uphold the United Nations arms embargo was at the centre of phone talks on Friday between Italy's foreign minister Luigi di Maio and his Libyan counterpart, the foreign ministry tweeted.
"Call with Turkey's foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Libya. Operation Irini and UN arms embargo. Also in agenda the resumption of tourist flows and bilateral relations," read the tweet.
