African diplomats together with representatives from the business world will attend a conference on Wednesday in Rome aimed at supporting African entrepreneurs, the Italian foreign ministry announced.
The 'Promoting Entrepreneurship in Africa' project will be presented at the foreign ministry, which is organising the event with the E4Impact Foundation, the ministry said.
Opening remarks will be made by Italy's deputy foreign minister Mario Giro, and the E4Impact Foundation's president Letizia Moratti. The E4Impact Foundation will then give a presentation, followed by case studies on Italian companies who operate in Africa, said the ministry.
The whole event will be open to the press, the ministry stated.
The E4Impact Foundation was launched in the northern Italian city of Milan in 2015 with the aim of supporting impact entrepreneurship in Africa through the training and coaching of a new generation of with a focus on women.
