Italy on Wednesday launched a new campaign to help Libyan cities that are illegal immigration and human trafficking hubs, the Italian embassy in Libya announced.
The 'Solidarity Bridge' campaign kicked off in the northwest Libyan city of Garabulli with the delivery of "essential" equipment for the its hospital, the Italian embassy said.
Garbulli is located west of the Libyan capital, in the Tripolitania region.
