Russia's "unjustified aggression against Ukraine" has wide-ranging repercussions, upending post-World War II international relations and posing new global security risks, according to Italy.
"After the pandemic emergency, we are going through a grave political crisis whose origins lie in Russia's unjustified aggression against Ukraine," Di Maio said on Monday at the presentation of Milan's Triennial Exhibition.
"This has vast humanitarian, social and economic as well as geopolitical ramifications," Di Maio said
The more than three-month-old conflict in Ukraine and the food and energy crises "calls into question (previous) certainties and forces us to seek new equilibriums and face new scenarios," he went on.
