Italy's Consulate General is following "with utmost attention" the cases of two Italian businessmen found dead in New York, foreign ministry sources told Adnkronos on Thursday.
The Consulate "is in constant contact" with New York's authorities in "to shed full light on the deaths" and will continue to support the men's families, the sources added.
Media reports named the two men as Luca Nogaris, 38, and Alessio Picelli, 48, partners in a home decorating and furnishing business from Rovigo, northern Italy.
Nogaris and Picelli were found in a short-term rental apartment in the Queens district of New York, according to the reports.
