Italy will host a conference on 26 April that will involve Italian companies in rebuilding war-ravaged Ukraine, foreign minister Antonio Tajani tweeted on Friday.
"Today I told #G7 foreign ministers in a call that government will organize a conference on April 26 for the reconstruction of Ukraine, with the contribution of Italian companies," read the tweet.
"Our commitment to peace and freedom for the Ukrainian people continues," the tweet underlined.
Italy has been a key supporter of Ukraine throughout the 380-day war, which began when Russia's president Vladimir Putin ordered a full-scale military invasion to "de-militarise and de-nazify" the former Soviet republic.
