A meeting of Italy's task force on the abduction on minors was held on Thursday at the foreign ministry in Rome and looked at joint action on "sensitive" cases involving countries such as Morocco, Russia, Senegal and Indonesia, the ministry said in a statement.
The meeting was "specifically operational" and "facilitated an open and fruitful dialogue and debate between participants, allowing them to fine-tune a number of joint lines of action to effectively manage individual and particularly delicate cases", the statement said.
Such delicate cases included with Morocco, Hungary, Senegal, Russia, Indonesia, the statement added.
The joint lines of action forged by the task force were aimed at "taking a coordinated approach to the complex and sensitive phenomenon of the international abduction of minors," according to the statement.
