Johnson Controls Unveils Seating, Interior and Battery Innovations at the 2015 North American International Auto Show

Innovations for automotive seating, interior and battery  

Global automotive industry trends like urban mobility, comfort, fuel economy and autonomous driving are the driving forces behind Johnson Controls' innovations in seating, interior and batteries that will debut at the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. 

Johnson Controls, a global multi-industrial company, will showcase two vehicle interior concepts for the first time at NAIAS that address these global trends. The 2015 Automotive Seating Demonstrator "SD15" and the Automotive Interiors Demonstrator "ID15" display innovative new products that offer enhanced comfort, personalization options and other unique features addressing the mega trend of autonomous driving. Johnson Controls will also unveil a new battery to help automakers meet increasing fuel efficiency and emission reduction regulations.

In addition to the debut of SD15 and ID15, highlights of Johnson Controls' 10,000-square-foot exhibit in room 310B of Detroit's Cobo Center include:

An event sponsor and exhibitor, this is the 21st year that Johnson Controls is involved in the NAIAS. Its exhibit will be open to media and invited guests with a press conference held at 6:30 a.m. EST on Monday, Jan. 12.
