Members of Italy's lower house of parliament will on Wednesday question interior minister Marco Minniti on the transfer of migrant protection applications within the European Union, known as the Dublin III scheme.
During the session, Minniti will focus on the issue of migrants arriving in Italy after they entered the EU via other member states. He will also answer questions from lawmakers on measures to counter the arrival of migrants who enter illegally by new routes and to prevent terrorism.
Minniti will also take questions on the activities of far-right xenophobic and neo-Nazi groups and the alleged incitement of young people to racially motivated violence.
