Libya's internationally recognised government is to set up a panel aimed at boosting business ties with its former colonial master, premier Fayez al-Sarraj said on Tuesday
"We will create a commission to look at economic relations between Italy and Libya," Sarraj said during talks in Tripoli with Italy's foreign minister Luigi Di Maio.
Libya is eager to encourage Italian firms to invest in the war-wracked oil state once it is stablised, Sarraj told Di Maio.
"We want Italian companies to come here as soon as possible to aid Libya's growth and development," Sarraj stated.
