Anti-mafia police in Naples on Monday arrested four people suspected of extorting money from a businessman in the in the southern Italian city.
The five suspects are accused of extortion against the businessman in the suburb of Marigliano on Naples' northeastern outskirts. They allegedly have ties to the Naples mafia's Capasso-Castaldo clan.
The suspects are being held in Secondigliano jail in Naples.
The Naples mafia or Camorra is one of Italy's oldest, wealthiest and most violent mafias. Its main sources of revenue include extortion, drug trafficking, arms trading, prostitution, usury, waste disposal and money laundering.
