Gartner's Magic Quadrant report evaluates service providers for the completeness of their vision and their ability to execute those visions. According to Gartner, "Leaders have a full portfolio of voice and data products, coupled with above-average service and support, wide global coverage, and competitive pricing. They have a strong vision that includes adopting more information and communication technology (ICT) capabilities, which is a strategy they articulate clearly and openly."

NTT Com's recent initiatives include the acquisition of Virtela Technology Services Incorporated (Virtela), a leading global managed and cloud network services company based in Denver, Colorado, USA.
