Three pregnant women and three children were among 23 boat migrants who landed on Italy's tiny southern island of Lampedusa, local officials said on Tuesday.
The migrants, who included a total seven women, were taken to Lampedusa's identification hotspot before being transferred elsewhere in Italy, the officials said.
On Monday, 16 Tunisian migrants reached Lampedusa's port aboard a small boat.
