Prosecutors in the northern city of Bologna are probing allegations of prisoners chanting in support of the Islamic State jihadist group during a recent riot, Italy's national news agency Ansa reported Monday.
The prosecutors will ask Digos counter-terrorism police to investigate the case in which rioting prisoners allegedly praised Allah and invoked Jihad or holy war, Ansa said, citing unnamed local sources.
