Members of Italy's Senate upper house of parliament will on Wednesday unveil a cross-party appeal against fascism addressed to the country's president Sergio Mattarella.
The appeal, which so far has been signed by 50 senators of various political stripes, will be presented to media at the Senate's Nassiyra press room.
Launched by two senators from the ruling centre-left Democratic Party, Daniele Borioli and Stefano Vaccari, the appeal is still open for signature.
Borilio and Vaccari will present the appeal to journalists, together with several other politicians including senators who have signed it.
