Italy and Kuwait enjoy a "solid partnership", strong trade ties and cooperation in battling terrorism, foreign minister Angelino Alfano told Kuwaiti premier Sheikh Jaber al-Sabahhis on Tuesday.
"A fruitful business climate, strong bilateral trade, security cooperation against terror: these are the elements of our solid partnership and of a constructive approach toward even deeper relations between our countries,” Alfano told Sabahhis.
Alfano made the remarks to Sabahhis on the sidelines of a meeting of foreign ministers from the US-led global coalition against the Islamic State jihadist group taking place in Kuwait City.
