Italians will be able to quiz Pope Francis on issues that concern them and listen to his replies on a new 'Tell Francis' radio show that launches Thursday, Vatican Radio announced.
'Tell Francis' will go on air at 9pm and take the form of an "indirect dialogue" between listeners and the pontiff, Vatican Radio said.
The show invites listeners to send "questions, observations and even objections" to Francis through Vatican Radio's Facebook and Twitter pages. It will then broadcast answers from the Pope contained in his sermons and addresses, as well as interviews.
The first programme will look at the problems facing young people, inter-faith dialogue, the plight of the poor, the role of contemporary art and "the delicate relationship between mercy and justice", Vatican Radio said.
