An express train struck and killed a 20-year-old barmaid and injured another young woman as they crossed rail tracks late on Sunday near the southern Italian city of Naples.
Raffaella Ascione was killed instantly in the accident at Casalnuovo in the province of Naples and a 22-year-old woman was injured, while 26-year-old man was unharmed.
Police are investigating the accident, which occurred at around 10 pm near a level crossing whose barrier was lowered.
