The night of euphoria that accompanied PSG's victory over Arsenal on Wednesday evening at the Parc des Princes in Paris ended with three injured, one of whom is in critical condition, and 43 arrests. Le Figaro reports that the police prefecture announced that a vehicle hit three people along a road perpendicular to Avenue des Champs-Élysées, in the 8th arrondissement, where many fans had gathered to celebrate their club's access to the Champions League final. According to the same source, one of the injured was hospitalized in absolutely urgent condition, the other two in relatively urgent condition.

The vehicle was then set on fire on Avenue Marceau, not far from the Champs-Elysées, before exploding, according to videos posted on social media. At the scene, an AFP journalist reported a burning car and a colleague saw a municipal vehicle on fire on another street, also near the Champs-Élysées. In the afternoon, fans without tickets for the semi-final had flocked to the stadium. Despite some unrest, the evening had been relatively calm, characterized only by some police intervention to disperse the crowd and restore traffic flow. At 1:30 a.m., according to police sources, the total number of arrests was 19.
