The 81-year-old Franco-Algerian writer Boualem Sansal has arrived in Paris, pardoned by the Algerian presidency and released last Wednesday after being imprisoned in Algeria for almost a year. Sansal, Bfmtv recalls, had been in Germany until now. The writer was received at the Élysée by French President Emmanuel Macron, the French presidency announced.
