Italy and oil-rich Azerbaijan enjoy "excellent relations", lower house of parliament deputy speaker and MP for the ruling conservative Forza Italia party, Giorgio Mule tweeted late Wednesday.
"Today I met with Azerbaijan's foreign minister Jeyhun Bayramovun," Mule wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
"We had a long, in-depth and cordial conversation to strengthen the already excellent relations between our countries," the tweet continued.
