Italy is a patriotic country that seeks dialogue and peace and is not hostile "towards other countries or foreigners," premier Paolo Gentiloni said on Wednesday.
"Patriotism bears no hostility towards other countries or foreigners. Patriotism and endeavour for dialogue and peace: that is Italy," Gentiloni stated.
Gentiloni made the remarks at the annual inauguration of the Carabinieri training school in Rome.
