The Group's excellence in environmental management is confirmed, strengthening its corporate reputation among stakeholders and investors
Webuild achieves an “A” rating, the highest assigned by CDP's (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) Climate Change 2025 program, entering the prestigious “A-List” which includes only 4% of the over 24,800 companies evaluated by the program worldwide. The result confirms the Group's excellence in environmental management, further strengthening its reputation among investors and stakeholders. Webuild's inclusion in the A-List is the result of a solid climate strategy, integrated for years into its long-term growth plans, which aims to reduce environmental impact and contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goals in the territories where the Group operates. CDP's evaluation, based on rigorous criteria for assessing governance, corporate policies, climate risk management, and environmental performance, represents a key tool for ensuring transparency and comparability of information for stakeholders.
Webuild also obtained a “B” rating in the Water Security section, compiled for the first time in 2024. This result highlights the Group's commitment to responsible water resource management, with actions aimed at reducing freshwater withdrawals and optimizing consumption, including through the increasing reuse of water. CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) is an independent, non-profit international organization that annually evaluates companies on behalf of over 740 investors, representing assets of more than 136 trillion dollars. The evaluation considers companies' commitment to identifying and managing climate risks, setting ambitious environmental targets, outlining coherent strategies and policies, and transparently communicating environmental performance.
Webuild has already received numerous international recognitions over time for its commitment in the ESG field. The Group is already included in Borsa Italiana's Mib ESG Index and is among the top sector players in the main ESG rating assessments issued by independent international organizations, such as Iss-ESG (with a B- Prime level rating), Moody's ESG – formerly Vigeo Eiris (Advanced level), MSCI ESG Ratings (AA), and Ecovadis Sustainability Rating (83/100, Gold Medal).
