Switzerland is one of Italy's main commercial partners and annual trade between the two countries amounts to around 30 billion euros, foreign minister Angelino Alfano said on Tuesday.
"Switzerland is among our main trading partners, with bilateral trade worth around 30 billion euros (annually)," Alfano said during a meeting at the foreign ministry in Rome with Swiss foreign minister Ignazio Cassis.
"Key sectors include energy, finance and transport and there is a very significant volume of reciprocal direct investment," Alfano added.
