Italy's premier Paolo Gentiloni, and the presidents of Italy's Chamber of Deputies and Senate, Laura Boldrini and Pietro Grasso will attend a seminar on the Mediterranean and the Middle East in Rome next week, the lower house of parliament said on Friday.
The event, promoted by the Italian Delegation to the NATO Assembly, of which Andrea Manciulli is president, will be held at the Italian parliament on Thursday and Friday will be divided into five sessions: the situation in Libya and North Africa; the migration crisis; the situation in Syria and Iraq; the terrorist threat to Europe and the Western Balkans; the prevention of radicalisation and countering Islamic extremism, the parliament said.
