Italy's foreign minister Enzo Moavero Milanesi on Thursday urged the European Union to show "solidarity" with his country in managing the migrant influx in the Mediterranean.
"We have asked European member states to show solidarity on managing migration, this is a key word and we hope this solidarity will not be shown too late," Moavero told reporters in Vienna.
Moavero made the remarks after a meeting of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe's Permanent Council.
